We first performed thorough competitor research to understand the gaps within Heart and Paws backlink profile better. Even though 2020 has had some surprises with COVID-19, we still managed to see some great results. We saw the ranking keywords shoot up from 45 in November to 918 in December when we started the campaign.

Traffic increased by 4658% from Oct 2019 to May 2020.

We have seen great improvements in the rankings on the first few pages of google. Below we can see that the keywords ranking in the Top 11-20 positions and positions 51-100 are increasing at a rapid rate.

Domain authority

We saw a boost in traffic, even during the coronavirus lockdown, Heart and Paws DA went from 18 to a DA of 31.

We also saw an increase in linking domains from 19 to 200 from Oct 2019 to May 2020. An overall increase of 952%.

Overall Heart and Paw has seen a great increase in ranking keywords as well as ranking higher in the SERPs. For example, we have seen the long term keyword ‘vets marlton’ increase from position 79 in January 2020 to position 5 in May 2020. We have also seen ‘pet grooming cherry hill’ increase 57 positions from position 60 to 3 since November 2019. This increase in rankings has boosted their visibility online and enabled them to increase their traffic by 4658% since October 2019. We were able to achieve Heart and Paw’s goals for the campaign by growing their rankings, brand and the traffic for multiple locations to their website, ensuring ROI even during the pandemic.
